Lutalo Masimba, formerly Roy 'Resistance' 'Bro. Resistance' Lewis, worked at the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago {CBTT}.

Guided by his social and moral compasses, Resistance took the helms of several groups.  He exhibited a sense of ownership of his social fraternities.  He enhanced his communities.  He was inspirational. 

He turned ideas into realities.  On issues of staff morale; employment contracts; the pride and dignity of his people, Resistance led.  Where a team did not exist, he formed one.

He and like-minded employees, created and published Stand, the first CBTT staff magazine.  He fostered a 'tent' for CBTT kaiso.

Resistance was on the nine-member Executive Board of the Central Bank Staff Association {CBSA}.  Sick of the terms of employment, members of staff; Resistance and the eight other Executive members of the CBSA, were away from the bank on the same day.

Consequently, in January 1975, the management of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago suspended the nine members of the CBSA Executive.

On Monday 13th July 2020, mother earth took Resistance in her arms and rocked him.  Therefore, on this date, we remember  Lutalo Masimba.
